Valeria Conte

Valeria ’Clarinetta’ Conte is a multi-talented Italian Klezmer clarinettist and composer. Since 2006 she has performed in various multicultural projects in Europe and Israel. In Stockholm, she leads the ”Klezmer – Folk Instrumental Music” and the ”Jewish Music: Ensemble & Song” courses at Paideia folkhögskola and organises and leads the ”OAKJS Klezmer Sessions”. She currently performs with her band ”Valeria’s Klezmer Chariot”, and with cantor Yuval Hed at the Great Synagogue of Stockholm.
