Yuval Hed was born in Jerusalem. He studied Jewish Theology at the University of Potsdam and trained as a cantor at the Abraham Geiger College in Berlin. He currently serves as substitute cantor of Judiska Församlingen at the Great Synagogue of Stockholm.
