Lizzie Oved Scheja

Lizzie Oved Scheja is the co-founder and Executive Director of the forefront, independent institution Jewish Culture in Sweden, that was Guest of Honor at the Book Fair in Gothenburg in 2023, responsible for curating and presenting the theme Jewish Culture. She is the recipient of His Majesty King of Sweden’s Medal for her ’significant contribution to Jewish life in Sweden’ (2023). Other awards include Tjugosjunde Januari Pris (2021), Aaron Isaac medal (2020) and Karin Bornstein-priset‘ (2012).
