Trauma care in Israel post 7/10: The influence of science, society and Jewish philanthropy

Israel is currently under a state of war. There is an influx of financial aid to treat mental health fallout both from within Israel and abroad. Despite increased research into treatment and psychosocial interventions, this does not seem to significantly influence mental health aid allocation. In this session Dr Anna Harwood Gross describes the current situation from the viewpoint of one of Israel’s major psychological trauma centers and addresses current treatment advances and difficulties.
